Chatbots and messaging can be powerful tools for marketing professionals. In this panel, “Chatbots & Digital Marketing,” we will cover best practices in leveraging chatbots for converting and retaining customers, common pitfalls, and great use cases. We’ll also discuss the pros and cons of leveraging different platforms, branding your chatbot, creating personality, and much more!

The Panel includes:

Clara de Soto, Co-founder of Reply.ai

Named one of The Next Web’s 100 Tech & Business Women Speakers, Clara is a serial entrepreneur, currently co-founder of Reply.ai, an award-winning enterprise chatbot solution ranked by Forrester as “Top 10 Chatbots for Enterprise.”  At Reply.ai, she heads up strategy, marketing, and business development, and is the Editor of industry-leading Chatbots Weekly. Clara’s previous company, ClearHart, a wearable tech for live events company, was acquired in 2015. Clara also co-created the viral hit, KillSwitch App. Clara’s work as a Creative Technologist has been featured on Bloomberg TV and named in Entrepreneur Magazine’s 100 Brilliant Companies. Rachel Law, CEO of Kip

Rachel co-founded Kip in 2014 and is Chief Executive Officer. She has years of experience and deep expertise in e-commerce and cross-border logistics from Asia to US and EU. In 2009, she founded an online website and community to help teen girls in USA and EU purchase youth street fashion from Japan, Korea and Singapore. She grouped individual orders, brokered transactions and organized drop shipping and logistics to minimize costs and provide savings buying wholesale. At its peak, the website had 12M daily visitors, $6000 USD daily transactions and over $2M USD in gross volume annually. She ran this website with only a couple of spreadsheets and a huge social community connected via chat. As an individual, it was impossible to scale up group orders. Rachel thought of ways to automate the process of group shopping and pooling group orders and founded Kip together with Alyx Baldwin.
Kip is a software agent that allows anyone to shop across borders with a 1-click checkout. Using artificial intelligence, Kip pools group orders using chat apps to optimize supply chain and payments to create delightful social shopping experiences. Rachel is responsible for Kip’s overall product direction, user acquisition and business strategy.
